My family and I really enjoy this ice cream shop! We've never had any issues the few times we've come here. Ordering in the drive thru is a breeze, and the service is always great. Even better is that it's right down the road from us! :-D They have free baby cones for the little guys which is pretty sweet. My 3 year old loves ice cream, but can hardly finish a small. So the baby cone is the perfect option for him. My 10 year old got an oreo ice cream in a small cup, I got the chocolate peanut butter with buckeyes ice cream cone, and my husband got a peanut butter cup sundae. All were delicious. And everything was super cheap, too. The sundae was so good. Pretty sure I'll be getting that one next time we stop by.
Any time we are in Evans, Bruster's is our favorite ice cream place to go for a nice family treat or when we need a nice sweet snack after a day at the park with friends! Ordering is always a breeze, the drive thru is a great option for when you're not feeling up to getting out of the car, the outdoor seating is perfect for when the weather is just right as well, and any child who is under 40 inches gets a FREE baby cone. Plus military discounts so win win! There is a good variety when it comes to their menu as well so for an indecisive person like myself, it can take me about 20 minutes to pick something lol, but I'm always delighted to see all the options I have! There's not really any downfalls to Bruster's because ice cream and good prices, so yeah lol.
We've been spending more time in Evans these past few months and I swear my toddler's spidey senses kick in because she always asks for ice cream at the right moment. This location does provide a drive thru which is convenient but you can also walk up to the window. We've noticed walking up that toddlers 40 inches and under can receive a -free!- baby cone that comes with edible candy eyes and sprinkles if you so choose. You can also get it in a cup for them too. However in drive thru, they still honor the free baby cones but ask the child's age, not sure how that works but we've never had a problem. Every time we have been they've had cotton candy explosion. That has been my favorite ice cream flavor at Bruster's since I was what, 12? So, a long time! Some locations don't have it up often, but this one does. My daughter and I are cotton candy explosion die hards, but we'll venture to purple dinosaur or sea salt caramel if they have it. I think prices are fair. Two small waffle cones with military discount was under $10 for us, and the baby cones are perfect sizes for the kids. Even without military discount, prices are more than reasonable for the amount of ice cream you get, even if it's a small! If you haven't, I'd sign up for their reward program. There's an app you can download that's super easy to use. Every $50 you spend, you get $5 back. With summer just around the corner, who knows how often you'll be stopping by as well.
This is the only Bruster's near us and we stop here often when we are out in Evans. The employees are always nice and they offer military discount so that is a plus. They also give your child a free kids cone of any flavor if your child is below the set height stand they have at the window. We have had only one problem recently when the ice cream was softer than normal.
They were out of the flavor I wanted(Coconut Almond) but the staff was kind enough to give me a jump start cause my battery was dead. Great service is my second favorite flavor.
